One year of Budget Backrooms. (v0.0.10 Anniversary Update)
On 7th May, 2022 I made the mistake to publish my first game, on GitHub. It was OK for the time being, a demo and stuff.
One year later, it's still not completed, because I am the only one working at the moment and yes, on a low ass budget.
I am currently developing the game off a laptop, (Acer Nitro 5 AN515-31 to be more specific). The development curve it's not the fastest, but it does the job just fine.
Originally I've started the project on 9th April 2022, I had no idea what I was doing on Unreal Engine, but slowly, I've learned off YouTube tutorials (props to Matt Aspland). After a few months I've acquired basic knowledge of Unreal Engine and did rare-ish updates.
Perhaps I'll explain it in more detail when I'll do a actual devlog video if I have the will to do so.
One year, it's not much but it did go fast.
Happy Birthday Budget Backrooms and who knows next year? Perhaps it will be discontinued or it's gonna be a bigger team working on the game with more stuff added.
